2024 DCSSA Specialty

Congratulations to Am CH Overland Glory Be on her first time out in Canada - going Winner's Bitch piloted by Kim Wendling under judge Sandy Alexander. "Romney" also took Best of Winners earlier in the day at the all breed under judge Anne Felske-Jacksman. She is now Canadian pointed and will continue to support and attend specialty shows when in coat.

Romney was our only dog entered this year and we enjoyed supporting the entry while also catching up with old friends near and far.

Our sincere thank yous to Kim Wendling for her presentation of Romney.

Congratulations to "Riggs" Can GCH Am GCHB Gambit's Wind In My Sails AOM on  making the final cuts and taking his second CCA Award of Merit under breeder judge Gayle Kaye.

Our Riggs son "Kenny", Canadian pointed Glasshouse Winds Of Change held his own in a strong lineup of young males in the 6-9 month Sable & White dogs. While we didn't place, we couldn't be more proud of how he handled his first time out in the "big ring". Kenny was the first puppy to head into the ring that day. opening the Rough judging.

Kenny was also later evaluated privately by experienced breeders and breeder judges attending the show and we thank them for their positive feedback and comments.

Riggs CCA 2023

2023 CCA National Specialty

We were thrilled to attend the 2023 Collie Club of America's National Specialty show in Fort Wayne, IL. With 699 collie entered, we were excited to meet up with old friends and make the acquaintance of new ones. It's here that we were graciously given opportunity to lease "Riggs" GCHB Gambit's Wind In My Sails (pictured). Riggs took home an Award Of Merit under judge Larry Willeford this day. He is now also a Canadian Grand Champion and was Rough Select Dog at the Collie Club of Canada Regional Specialty Show (Nov. 2023). Thank you to his breeders/owners at Gambit & Canyon Collies for the opportunity!
